The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (District) issues a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) to invite the submission of statement of qualifications and proposals (Response(s)) from contractors to perform preliminary (preconstruction) services and construction services for the District’s Samohi Student Services Building (Phase 4) Project pursuant to the lease-leaseback delivery method. (Ed. Code, § 17406.) The Projects construction cost is estimated to be $11M. The Lincoln Middle School Campus Improvements Project consists generally of phased improvements to the existing occupied campus, including building renovations and upgrades, window replacement, interior improvements, and exterior site improvements to the courtyards, quad, campus entry and fencing areas, and other designated project areas. Work will be performed in coordination with ongoing school operations and will include demolition, construction, installation, restoration, and associated improvements necessary to complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
