Project Description:
-Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, and labor to complete the work outlined below. All materials and supplies utilized shall be in new condition. The Contractor shall not re-purpose or otherwise utilize any existing data cabling, outlets, or connections without the approval of the District.
- Contractor shall install, terminate, label and secure Category 6A or 8 STP Plenum grade cable from
patch panels to termination points throughout the sites as outlined by the District. See
Attachment D. Total number of data wall drops: 575 at 3 Sites (Lincoln, Desert Garden, Harding).
- Location of network nodes in Classrooms, Offices, MPR, and Resource rooms will be
defined by actual cabling setup.
- District will provide the network cable, keystones, patch panels, patch cords, phone face plates.
- Contractor will install and terminate the cables providing all necessary conduits, raceways, boxes
and accessories.
- All cabling must adhere to ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B standards and industry best practices
following TIA.
- All cabling must be organized and secured.
- Contractor will follow all industry standard safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Contractor is responsible for the cleanup and disposal of refuse generated in the
performance of their duties.
- The Contractor shall repair or replace any items they may have damaged or destroyed
during the performance of this task. e.All work, deliveries and testing will be conducted
during normal business hours unless otherwise scheduled with the District.
