PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Lamont Elementary School District (“District”) is issuing this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) to verify qualifications and consider proposals of firms to provide Lease-Leaseback (LLB) preconstruction and construction services pursuant to Education Code Section 17406 et seq. relating to planned improvements identified in the District’s Facilities Implementation Plan. The responses to this RFQ/P shall be used to select a firm that provides the best value to the District for Lease-Leaseback preconstruction and construction services to assist the District in the implementation of improvements to the Alicante Avenue Elementary School. Planned improvements at Alicante Avenue Elementary School include the construction of new modular kindergarten and general purpose classrooms, and modernization upgrades to the existing classrooms. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site walk for the project is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:00am at the Lamont Elementary School District Office, 7915 Burgundy Avenue, Lamont, CA 93241. RESPONSE DEADLINE / LOCATION: Sealed proposals containing five (5) bound paper copies and one (1) electronic copy on CD/DVD or USB stick of RFQ/P responses confirming to the requirements of the RFQ/P shall be delivered no later than 1pm on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the following location: ALICANTE AVENUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT C/O Caldwell Flores Winters, Inc., 815 Colorado Boulevard, Suite 201, Los Angeles, CA 90041.
